At Willow Forest, we address the dynamic needs of children and young individuals by providing an expansive, fully outdoor play environment that eliminates conventional walls. Feedback from parents, carers, and educators frequently underscores the observation that their children exuberantly "bounce off the walls." In response, Willow Forest offers a secure, self-directed play space where children can engage in unstructured activities, promoting the values of Play Wild, Love Learning, and Be Free.
Our team, comprised of dedicated support mentors, mental health practitioners, and forest school leaders, is committed to facilitating and nurturing the growth of young individuals enrolled in our programs. Within our bell tent, an array of opportunities awaits, encompassing activities such as dressing up, arts and crafts, board games, books, and access to open-ended resources. The forest setting itself serves as an ideal backdrop for diverse activities, including den building, tree climbing, tool utilization, swinging, and immersive mud kitchen play.
The expansive green pasture on our premises primarily caters to sports, running, and large group games such as manhunt, tag, and parachute games. Additionally, our fire circle serves as the focal point of our establishment, providing a communal space for children and young individuals to gather, share stories, engage in cooking over an open fire, and cultivate a sense of community and belonging.
